Terms of Service
Last updated 21 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between Busify (“we”, “us”) and you, the bus operator who runs a booking site on the platform. They are written to be read: if anything here is unclear, write to us at support@busify.site before you sign up.
1.The service
Busify is a hosted platform on which you sell tickets for your own bus services. We provide the booking site passengers buy from, the operator portal (routes, schedules, seat layouts, fares, bookings, counters, agents, boarding, staff accounts and settings), an address for it on busify.site, and the option to connect a domain you own.
Every operator runs on its own database. Your routes, bookings, passengers and staff are never stored in the same tables as another operator’s.
2.Signing up and your account
When you sign up you choose a plan and a subdomain. The subdomain is reserved for you the moment you submit. Your request is then reviewed; once payment is confirmed we approve it and build your booking site. Nothing is provisioned, and nothing is billed, until approval.
You must give accurate business and contact details and keep them current. You are responsible for everything done under your account and the staff accounts you create, so keep passwords private and remove staff who leave.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract on behalf of the operator you sign up.
3.Plans and payment
- Each operator has one plan. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, in the currency shown on the pricing page.
- There is no free trial. Your first billing period starts on the day the operator is approved — not on the day you signed up.
- Plan features and limits (routes, vehicles, staff, tickets per month, sales channels, custom domains and so on) are those listed for the plan at the time. You can change plan from the operator portal.
- If an invoice is not paid by its due date the operator enters a grace period; if it stays unpaid the operator is suspended and its booking site stops selling until the balance is settled. Tickets already sold stay valid. Your data is kept during suspension.
Refunds and cancellation are covered in the refund policy.
4.Your services, your responsibility
You decide which routes you sell, at what fares, and how your booking site presents itself. You are responsible for your timetables, fares, seat allocations, cancellation and refund policies, taxes, and for operating the journeys you sell and honouring the tickets you issue. You must hold whatever route permits, licences and registrations your business needs.
Payment gateways, SMS providers and other integrations you connect are your own accounts with those providers, under their terms. We pass bookings and updates between your booking site and them; we do not hold your passengers’ money.
You must not use the platform to sell services you are not permitted to operate, to mislead passengers, to send spam, host malware, or harm the platform or other operators. Logos, images and content you upload must be yours to use.
5.Addresses and domains
Your subdomain on busify.site is yours for as long as your account exists; it is not transferable and we may reclaim an address that has been reserved but never approved, or that breaks these terms.
On plans that allow it you can connect a domain you own. Once its DNS verifies it becomes your booking site’s canonical address and the subdomain redirects to it. You remain responsible for owning and renewing that domain.
6.Your data
Your network, bookings, passenger records and settings belong to you. We store and process them only to run your booking site and portal, as described in the privacy policy. We keep the platform’s own copies (backups, logs) for as long as they are needed to operate it safely.
You are the controller of your passengers’ personal data; you must have a lawful basis for collecting it and a policy of your own that tells them how it is used.
7.Availability and changes
We work to keep every booking site online, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service: maintenance, upstream failures and events outside our control can cause downtime. We will tell operators about planned maintenance where we can.
We improve the platform continually and may add, change or retire features and plans. Where a change removes something a plan included, we will give reasonable notice.
8.Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from the operator portal or by writing to us. We may suspend or terminate an operator that is unpaid past its grace period, breaks these terms, or puts the platform, passengers or other operators at risk; where practical we will warn you first.
When an operator is terminated its booking site goes offline and its data is deleted after a retention period, during which you can ask for an export.
9.Liability
The platform is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost sales, lost profits or indirect losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10.Changes to these terms and how to reach us
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be announced in the operator portal or by email before they take effect; continuing to use the platform after that means you accept them.
